:P that front bumper is just a mess & wouldn't be out of place on Barryboys shedotw  otherwise i can't see why it hasn't sold :? B
It doesn't seem like much is moving at the moment mate - I'm looking to get a Coupe but I think I need to hold off selling my roadster until the market picks up.

I don't see it picking up noticeably for the 85s or 89s , the last 2 years has seen little of the usual seasonal bump with the roadster prices , they have slowly lost value to where they are now , i d hope the Si would not drop too much more but seeing early E89 23i south of £9k isn't helping
If i had a Si roady to sell id start now & be ready for a 6-8 week process , i still think the right examples , priced fair & presented properly will sell but for those holding out for last years prices then you might end up disappointed
I think you are spot on mate - I don't think the coupes are going to increase either. There will always be the offset between the 85 and 86 but it is like all cars, they are only desireable to those that want them. Let's face it most of the public would even notice an M let alone an SI or Coupe!

Ive no idea if the coupes ( 3.0 Si) will hold - increase or decrease but they will always hold more favour in the used car market than their roadster siblings simply due to rarity & a seemingly everlasting kudos & style .
The E85 range covers a massive spectrum of engine choice + range from 2003 to 2008 whereas the coupe is simply 3.0 Si Sport or Si Se & far less numbers available for those looking to buy .

I think the offset will always be £1500 - 2000 for the same spec coupe however, I think 9k would easily see you in a very nice coupe. The M's on the other hand will always hold their value just because of what they are. There was a roadster on AT earlier for 10k 😳 Oddly it had an SE steering wheel!
