I was once followed by an S in my HPC on some empty real twisty B roads one summer night and I was amazed how it managed to stay with me even on the exits ,but then I'm not a brave driver to be fair .
Pedantic perhaps but if you look you'll see the z4mc shell is torsionally stiffer than a cayman. 32,000 Nm plays 27.5k or something like that. Both however are exceptionally high figures even these days.Mad Professor said:I've never driven a coupe so can't say how it compares in terms of handling but I would guess as you say it's lot stiffer with less scuttle ,but still Prob nowhere near as good as the Cayman or indeed a Boxstar.
Mad Professor said:If it's wet and twisty then the Boxster definitely wins the races with equal driver ability . If you're a better driver then perhaps the Z might edge it .

Darren M said:I blame Clarkson. I remember reading his Z4 M comparison with a Cayman or Boxster - he stated better to get the Porsche as it pulls harder. The stats however don't back up that claim. The new ones might but not those of the same era as the Z4 M. Maybe that has stuck in peoples subconcious minds :
