Nice Day = first in depth clean!

Hi All,

Just though I'd put up some photos of the new (ish) z4m after cleaning it today.

Cleaned with autoglym products, shampoo, high resin polish, gloss coat sealant.

I love this car and this is how it should look.

All the best.

Fast3000, on the front yes mate, PS3s on the back though. They will need changing very soon and will be replaced with PSSs as I love them.

Thanks for all the comments

Looks cracking!

If I may, coming from a detailing back ground... AutoFinesse Triple is easier to apply, easier to buff off and looks 50% better again than SRP. Well worth the £10 bottle investment next time around!

If you put some poorboys black hole over that and then top it off with some Angelwax desirable wax you'll be laughing :D

You could even apply some Angelwax QED over that lot as well :D

Personally don't see much in doubling up with Blackhole as well, but personal experience/opinions and all that jazz!

This was my S3 after Triple and C2V3 (now on to using Reload for the ease);

Since moving to London I have neither the space nor the time to detail as I used to, so the easier the better. The car still looks better than 99% of the locals and shines at shows, so I'm happy :thumbsup:

Brilliant advice. Thanks JAD, what would you say are the top detailing products for everything. Just looking for a list. But cheeky I know haha.

Not cheeky at all, Andrew. Though it really depends on budget and how long you have. Are you simply after protection at this stage, being Winter still, or correction etc?

If it helps, my current weekly is;

Two bucket method using either GTechniq Gwash or Hubikote shampoo, coupled with a CarPro wash mitt
Wheel woolies for the wheels
Wooly Mammoth drying towels

When I want to give it something extra, without needing a correction (long list there...), it gets;

AF Triple
Reload Spray

Tyres are with Blackfire
Wheels sealed with GTechniq C5 Wheel Armour
Arches and all other plastics sealed with GTechniq C4
Hood sealed with GTechniq i1, as well as interior fabrics
Engine bay cleaned with a decent APC and plastics sealed with 303 Aerospace/metal polished etc
Exhausts with Britemax twins then sealed with C5

The list goes on, so give me a starting point for what you need?
