nfbr's 2007 Ruby Black Z4 Coupé! Blog/Build-Thread

So, having had no car for 3 weeks and having planned to have no car for anything upto 6 months, temptation got the better of me! This evening I have put down a large deposit on what in two days will be my first BMW!

A really nice Z4 Coupé Step-Auto in what at this point I think is Ruby Black (could be wrong but it seems to have undertones of oxblood red in certain light), with Cream leather interior and Extended leather.
Edit- just checked the vin! Definitely Ruby Black

Really excited about picking this car up in the next couple of days and think it's probably going to take a fair bit of time and discipline to get used to. It's a very different car to anything I've had before!

That is a great colour combo - I sometimes wish I had held out for a non-black interior.

Looks very shiny. Thanks for posting an unprompted pic. :D

Enjoy :driving:

Thanks Guys!

I work for a very well known Volkswagen / Audi tuning specialist, It'd be rude not to...

Ruby black is probably one of the better colours for a coupe

Just a bugger to keep it ruby black this time of year

Look forward to the results of your mods, you may inspire me some work on mine!

What car did you move from?

Very nice mate. Lovely colour.

Hi and welcome. Any plans to mod it. If not that will soon change if you hang around here to long.

I've had mine 4 months and already spent a fortune in mods. This lot will corrupt you!

Lucky enough, I only do 2,000 - 3,000 miles a year, so shouldn't be too bad!

Thanks.
I've recently got rid of a Volkswagen Jetta 2008 (2.0TFSI) running APR Stage 2+. Around 279bhp and 335lb/ft of torque.

You can't corrupt something that's already there!

Thanks guys :) I'm heading over to pick the car up tomorrow evening. Very much looking forward to it, however I'm really keeping fingers crossed that it's not going to be a frosty evening!

I picked mine up from Manchester Jan 13. Snow everywhere.

Made for a very interesting journey home
