Bit mean, more like badly built engine by the sounds of things, who knows, danny does sound like he enjoys the 'thrill of driving though! for that I can't blame him too much :D

It’s a bit of a s**t state of affairs that only a 1983 Passat can withstand my driving for a prolonged period of time.

I’m very glad you took my comment in the spirit it was made !

I got a good sense of humour.

Glad Gary is healing well, just a shame he is not intending replacing his M Coupe with another,or even any such similar car.
Your company will be missed on the Scottish meets, mate  :driving:

Tom.......

And I'm happy in my flippy floppy roadster. That was designed to save my life from impacts like that from the start. :D

You seen the euro ncap on an E89
Scored all of 3 stars

My physics would say you be in a box

Do a little research & you're going to learn the ncap test has changed 4 times prior to the e89 testing and bmw say if testing standards had remained the same the e89 model would have scored a 5 star rating :poke:

This statement was confirmed by a BMW spokesman. “Since the 2009 when the Z4 came on the market, the Euro NCAP test criteria has changed four times. If the Z4 was tested before the changes, it would have brought five stars by the Euro NCAP criteria. This is what our internal testing has shown,” a BMW spokesman said

Lovely bit of spin by BMW. I bet vws Diesel engine would of passed emissions if they were tested before new criteria’s

It was images of fellow 7 drivers who had similar write offs which in the end made me wuss out and surround myself with more metal and arbags
My rule now is that if an overtake looks in and way dodgy then sit back enjoy the music and reflect
I've scared myself a few times when OP has done something unpredictable
Dash cam is a must not thatbitvwould have seen such a side swipe

If your going to compare the e89 unfavourably to the earlier e85,then it’s only fair to use the same testing criteria the older e85 was subject to-so you’re comparing eggs to eggs.
Your Diesel engine comparison has no relevance at all :poke:

No air bags and with the roof on glad my back and knee are recovering :)

Its bloody loud and great fun to drive. Not as outright fast but more fun at a lower speed.

Looking forward to being able to do more work on it as well as was always a little bit wary on the Z4M.

Will tag on the back of a few runs soon. If its already in bits the Saxo will return !!!!!

Glad to see you've got a fun car again - but I think I might have wanted something with a bit more metal!

Hope you enjoy it.

More metal? Sacrilege, you pay a lot of money for all the lightness that Lotus added :P
