afternoon all

just a quick intro. picked up a 56 plate z4mc from canterbury last night.

240 miles and a guy running across the m6 in the pitch black (I saw legs running and that was it!) and I made it home. I'm already in awe of it, stepped out of a leon cupra so it's a fair step up, I'm driving like a complete girl at the moment! haha

I'm off for another blast!

Looks really nice in black .... and don't worry about being careful with it - better to get used to it as opposed to stuffing it !

Congrats on the purchase mate, it looks great. I studied in Canterbury by the way. I was there for 4 years.

Nice motor! What options does it have? I was looking for a black one, but succumbed to Imola red`s charms! If it`s not a rude question how much did you pay? Was it on BMW AUC?

not rude at all....it was on bmw web for £25k, had 16.8k on the clock (only covered 2 in the last year!)

has nav, 6 disc changer, logic 7, pdc, blutetooth (although the stealership have lost the pairing code so need to get her plugged into the super computer in the week to reset) and toasty seats.

while I'm at it, is there a list of options (auto fold the mirror's when the doors are locked, shut windows when doors are locked etc etc) that can be done while plugged in?

Hi and welcome, you just need to remove the carpet panel in the boot at the bulkhead, then the bluetooth ULF will be revealed, and the code is on a sticker on it, might be quicker than going to the dealer.

yea i've been mainly on the motorways this weekend (which sucks!) and keep spotting it flapping when checking blind spot!

thanks for the welcome guys.

havn't had chance to properly look around, but seems like a bit more of a laid back atmosphere than cupra.net, a lot of people have audi/veedub envy on there! haha.

that said it was always good when something went wrong though as it was invariably a cost saved part which wasn't a commonly known problem on vag engines (for example plastic impeller on the water pump where the audi/vw 1.8t engines have cast alloy, which I didn't know untill it went bang at 6000 rpm! on the way into work)

Lovely mate. Saw that down there friday had a little look in it. My Z4MC was getting its first MOT.

It looked immaculate.

Yea, Broadoak had a couple of scuff on the front bumper resprayed so she's spotless.

I've not had a black car for about 9 years though and am already ready for a good scrub and I've only had her a couple of days!! The joy of black cars eh......it looks amazing when clean buy doesn't half show up the dirt!

95% identical to mine (I don't have PDC) :)

Cleaning it is a nightmare, but it does look good when shiny, congrats on the purchase
