95% identical to mine (I don't have PDC) :)

Cleaning it is a nightmare, but it does look good when shiny, congrats on the purchase

any recommendations on polish/wax for dark cars?

I've stepped out of a gunmetal car (not dark and not light), so not really that important on variables.

I've used one grand omega glaze and blitz wax over the last couple of years to good effect.

not rude at all....it was on bmw web for £25k, had 16.8k on the clock (only covered 2 in the last year!)

has nav, 6 disc changer, logic 7, pdc, blutetooth (although the stealership have lost the pairing code so need to get her plugged into the super computer in the week to reset) and toasty seats.

while I'm at it, is there a list of options (auto fold the mirror's when the doors are locked, shut windows when doors are locked etc etc) that can be done while plugged in?

Nice. Been looking for a Z4MC myself recently and never saw this one come up on the AUC, even though I had it set to national search. You must have snapped it up quickly at what sounds like a great price.

I once read that the last four digits of your chassis numberare the Bluetooth pairing code - certainly works on the other half's 125i.

Out of interest how effective is bluetooth in these cars anyway when you're pressing on a bit? I would have thought the engine noise would have dominated a bit?

Welcome aml_al from a fellow new bloke (had my Z4MC for just over a week).

I too have had a Leon Cupra in the past - mine was an early 'R' with 210ps.

Enjoy your new car!

Thanks again for the welcome.

The BlueTooth seems pretty good so far. Plenty loud enough and good quality sound too. The code had been changed. I guess it may start as the last 4 digits of the chassis No. but can be re-configured.
