Could you hazard a guess at a parts bill I'm sitting at right now?BMWZ4MC said:When you've learned/developed/honed everything you need to create this beautiful monster, how much will I have to pay you to do it all again for me? I'm prepared to rob as many banks as it takes![]()
That's actually money well spent for 500/550, that'll be Yankee horses I take it as they are never anywhere near our figures. They always show more than anything over here, sometimes as much as 100bhp.BMWZ4MC said:8500USD for the kit plus labour, plus tuning /fettling

Sold my 76k 3.0 se engine and 6speed for £800, with wiring loom and ecu. Full BMW service history , I was struggling to sell it!BMWZ4MC said:Bing has a valid point though, an intact S54 with documented history and reasonable mileage had to be worth £2K and the gearbox perhaps £1-1.5K, so the balance might swing towards the V10 if someone with experience was performing the conversion.

Yeh there's another £600 for the calipers, £600 performance friction rotors still to get bells and mounts. Mmm you shouldn't get me thinking about the build, I just keep remembering about other items I've bought. Wheels there's another item I've just bought, but not to sure if I'm to keen on them. They arrive Tuesday I'll post pics and let you decide :-?CornishRob said:Stevie.w said:Lets say for instance v10 £5500/6000, e92 6speed manual £1000/1500, ecu £2000, exhaust £1000, fuel system £900, these are the major items.
