Hopefully you'll be able to get out soon an enjoy all the work you've put into building an amazing zed
Hi Mark. Yeah really looking forward to getting out in it especially the way fuel costs have dropped. 31st May and were of on a road trip over the Alps, but I'll need to give it a good shake down before then.

I would like to get to some BMW shows over the coming year, not sure which tho. I've joined the BMW owners club and see they have a stand at the Silverstone classic, I may apply for it just need to check dates tie in.

There's a meet in the lakes around kendal that's quite popular, an in the grand scheme of things not to far south for travelling

Do you know the dates for the Lakes event Mark? Would be good to meet up with fellow members and chill out over a few beers.

On the subject of modifying I've been pretty busy with my other project the MX5. Few pics of turbo installation.
Actually looking forward to completing this car and having some fun.

I'll look at my diary and see if I can make sure it's clear. What does the weekend hold in store?

We do just the Sat in the lakes, which is a meet up and then a circular route followed by a bbq for those who are staying. Then on the Sunday its a faster paced blast through Yorkshire I believe.

This was the format last year:http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=74776&hilit=national+meet+lakes

Sounds excellent, so meet up on Saturday for the initial meet and I'll play by ear thereafter. Accommodation wise what's the script?

I think some of the guys and gals camp, others stay at the Crookland hotel (the meeting place). We're only 40 mins away so we just do the Sat Lakes run. Its very well attended and a real buzz driving around the Lakes in convoy :driving:
It would be amazing if you could make it in your V10 Zed

Hi Mark. It's direct from Marcus at KW head quarters, they're Club sport Z4M tweaked to suit my application. So they are bespoke in all fairness.
I'm really trying to do the Lakes in July as its probably the easiest for me to fit in.

That is looking gorgeous

It's so innocent ... There are going to be a few very surprised wannabe racers round your way soon
