Agreed. Tree sap is an issue. My soft top was yellow with it when I bought the car. But to me more than half the fun of the Z4 is have a retractable roof. Can't imagine changing it for a hard top.

Solution - tree/petrol/match ?

sorry I missed you Nickm, I was marathoning in Farnham on Sunday. Up for a gentle blast on M3 another time tho.
My ole' Mums birthday yesterday, Congleton in Cheshire, first long run in new Z. Took my brother to share the driving (legs a little sore still).
Zipped up the motorway beautifully, but when we got onto the Cheshire lanes it was just SUBLIME. I want more :driving: .
