Newbie from North of the border

Welcome Gordon,

Fellow east of Fundee resident. I'm in Monifieth and just bought my Z4 3 days ago! It was that or a motorbike and as motorbikes don't have heated seats it was a no brainer!

Here it is, give us a flash when you see me. :driving:

I wasn't quite in Dundee either ;)

Did you get your Jag serviced at the garage in Edzell? They have a nice Z4 Alpina for sale at the moment.

No. A good friend has a garage and did any servicing for me. I only did 4500 miles in the 5 years I owned it :headbang: . That's why I sold it. Then missed it and bought the Z4. Really enjoying the handling as the Jag was a bit wallowy in the corners.

Nice motor. I like the E-89 in white.

No disrespect intended. But. Being from America where we actually drive the cars we own. I have to ask. How is it possible to have a car (especially a nice one) sat in the garage and just leave it there unused? At a certain point wouldn't it be best to just not have one at all?

Just curious

I know. I used to use my cars much more but now have my own business and work 6 days a week so the car is for Sundays only. I've started using the Z to go to work sometimes as I like it so much. It even gets dirty whereas the Jag never did  .

Hi Geezah, I moved to Monifieth 2 years ago from "The Ferry" so no doubt will see you about. I'll keep an eye out for you. My car has been in Monifieth since it was new. The first owner lived off Grange Rd.

Re the bike - just get another toy  . You can never have enough  .

Gordon M.
Just tell the boss to start you on a five day work week. Job done.

It's good that you are able to commute in the Zed.

Lots of good folk and info on this forum. Enjoy.
