Hi, I'm Gordon and as you can see from the title live North of the border. I bought my Z4 2.5 23i MSport Auto from a friend a few months ago when it was 3 years old. It's white with red leather and has a few extras. No i Drive/Sat Nav or cruise control though which I miss as my previous car had them. It's not my daily drive and very rarely driven with the roof up. No point in having a drop top and not dropping it. Even last Sunday when it was hovering just above Zero the roof was down, heater up full and heated seats on !!! Mad maybe but I love fresh air.

Anyway here are a couple of pictures of the car.

Hi and welcome, nice to see someone else with similar good taste in colours

First thing I changed was the aerial for a 'stubby' looks so much better IMHO

Thanks. I am enjoying the Z4. Just don't have enough time to get out much and enjoy it. Seems to be Sundays only.

My previous toy
2003 XK8 Convertible Jaguar Racing Green Metalic with full Ivory Recaro interior. Had it 5 years. The longest I've kept any car. Still miss it.

I thought about changing to a stubby but don't mind the standard one. Wish I had the 35iS though :headbang:

Thanks.

I'm not quite in Dundee , well won't admit it anyway, who would. City of culture loser !!! Not much culture here. Not that there can be much in Hull either  From the posh part  ( The Ferry ) !!!

I wasn't quite in Dundee either ;)

Did you get your Jag serviced at the garage in Edzell? They have a nice Z4 Alpina for sale at the moment.

No. A good friend has a garage and did any servicing for me. I only did 4500 miles in the 5 years I owned it :headbang: . That's why I sold it. Then missed it and bought the Z4. Really enjoying the handling as the Jag was a bit wallowy in the corners.

Nice motor. I like the E-89 in white.

No disrespect intended. But. Being from America where we actually drive the cars we own. I have to ask. How is it possible to have a car (especially a nice one) sat in the garage and just leave it there unused? At a certain point wouldn't it be best to just not have one at all?

Just curious
