HI Dave,

And welcome, to the forum.

You mentioned using an TMP box, have you though about the JB4 as it has more functionality?

Had mine on for 6,000 miles and not an issue - also I love the sweeping dials on startup.

Hi there, please tell me more about the box?

Yea. 2nd is really tight. Seems to be s bit of a whine from it too.

Yep, I was worried about the slight wine in low revs in 2nd for a while too. Turns out this is completely normal also! Happy driving :driving:

I get 24mpg out of my ///M Roadster.

I get an average of 29-31 on my manual 35i if that helps!

Yea zeroed the indicator. Comes back high 20s

Sounds a bit heavy to me.

My 20i gave me high 30's on a run (eg Leicester to Devon, mostly motorway) even in the first 1000 miles.

Settled down now to 34 mpg, my driving is mainly quiet country roads with the odd motorway trip. Mines an auto BTW, which BMW claim to have a slightly better economy, but not that much!

Welcome to the forum.........in the 3 months that I've owned my 35i, I've not bettered 16.9mpg and I've not got a heavy right boot. :-(

:o :o I get 24mpg out of my ///M Roadster. Have you checked that it`'s changing gear from 1st?? :D

In the 4 years that I owned my 3.0i E85 I never bettered 24mpg around town which accounts for about 99% of my driving.
My route to work along the A10 is stop/start due to traffic lights every 1/2 mile which I presume accounts for the low mpg figures I've achieved with both cars.
Thank f**k fuel prices are heading down. :-)
