New Z4 project

Looking forward to seeing how this looks - wonder if I can be tempted into some mods for the Z4...must resist..resist.. :dizzy:

By any chance do you know if you'll be offering springs, coilovers or both?

We're hoping to be able to offer springs and our adjustable RS suspension kit. The RS kit is adjustable for ride height and compression and rebound damping, and is top notch stuff. This is what EVO thought of the last one ;)

The suspension kit on its own for the 6 cylinder cars is £2721.68 (£3048.41 if you have EDC), but it's a massive improvement over stock, not just a little better. EVO are notoriously fussy about handling, so for them to say "the best handling Z4 ever" is high praise.

The tyres are on, so wheels and suspension will be fitted tomorrow. Maybe :D .We've gone for Michelin Pilot Super Sports (235/35/19 and 265/30/19).

We reckon the new Type VIII Bi-colour wheels in silver look very fetching, kind of like an update on the old Type III wheel don't you think?

I think the M Sport alloys are better! I know that's rather negative but I just dont see these wheels suiting the Z4. I also think the only after market alloys I have liked have been black with a polished chrome lip

I'm interested to see the result, and I don't mean to insult, but IMHO the AC stuff looks a bit too radical/aftermarket for my tastes. As with all cars and people, it depends on what you like, but for me personally I prefer a slightly more elegant look, more OEM. Subtle wins for me on car mods. If I were still 21 tho, I'm sure I'd love the AC stuff as at that age its about head turning and competition with your mates Corsa! :driving:

There is the other extreme however;

I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!

To be fair to the bi-colours the above is not a terribly good pic, they do look better on the car. We had a set of Type VIII bi-colours on our 5 series demonstrator, and Type IV (single spoke) bi-colour on the other side, and the jury was split. Half the people who saw it preferred the Type VIII, and half the Type IV. It's all down to personal taste at the end of the day. Me....I like the silver 8)
