Oh dear oh dear. It has tried to snow hear but nothing on the ground. All going to plan at the moment. Had it powered up to try it, now on with putting it all back together. By the looks of it there will be loads of setting up to do on it which I think will give me the biggest headache. If I fail on some of it then at some point when we are allowed to drive around then I may have to pay you a visit.AnubisZed said:Well, I'm supposed to be out there taking some extra video shots for another video, I think I'll give it a miss![]()
Hope you're not having the snow as well?

Here you go, go into the Factory Settings screen (code 070305) and scroll down to "Car Type" and this is the correct setting for our screen size...

Good work, reminds me of the days back in my tens to late 20s/early 30s,when I used to read cars apart for stereo upgrades.
Definitely some satisfaction when you get everything back together, rattle free
And working,lol.
Nice one.
(sorry dropped into miserable old git mode again!)Yeah there are some other styles of aerials and in a few months I might try one out but for the time being I'll stick with how it is now as for normal channels I can still use the cars radio, plus I've put a fair few albums on a micro sd card and put that in the slot, also using my phone as a hot spot I can also use my Amazon music online if needed. Saying all this I normally only have it on quiet as I like to listen to the exhaust note from the Milltek systemAnubisZed said:Alas the reception for the DAB is pretty poor (IMHO) so I ripped mine back out again in the end, but to be fair I never listen to the radio anyway. I prefer to listen to the music I want to and not some boring knob droning on about bugger all(sorry dropped into miserable old git mode again!)

Yeah same for us here in Derbyshire, never mind though, at least I have all bases covered if I get bored of listening to the exhaust lolronk said:The standard fit DAB is on but tends to drop out in the more rural area - even around the edge of town in a hilly area there can be holes in the signal - always when listening for some important bit![]()
