Hi Senwar - please dont worry, I've got trigger happy and ordered some PS2s just now!! 235/35 and 265/35, getting them fitted on Monday. Do you have any problems with rubbing on full lock with your front wheels? Hopefully I'll be ok!

I got the new rims fitted about a week ago, they look awesome! I agree the car feels a lot more stable and easier to put the power down without the rear wheels going mad (with the traction control off!!)

Atempting to use the search has lead me to this rtaher than starting yet another csl thread.
cs/csl wheels.. apprciate the difference is the front being 8 or 8.5
Fronts..Are there any benefits going down to Cs wheel width? over CSl? less scrubbing on lowered cars?
or are both fine for the job?
Any advice welcome.

I also wanted CSLs on my Z4MC but couldn't find them so I ended up getting CS wheels.
Rears are exactly the same, fronts are (like you say) 8.5j (CSL) vs. 8j (CS).
OEM M3 CSL tire size is 235 front and 265 rear, I have used the exact same sizes on my CS set and its all fine no rubbing etc.
Mine is on an Eibach Pro kit and I use 12mm spacers front and 5mm rear to fine tune the look to perfection (IMHO of course :wink: )
One additional note:
When the rears wear out I will probably go for 275 because the sidewall fitment will then visually match better with the fronts which are ever so slightly 'squarer' because of the .5 narrower rim (note that this is a very very minor detail that normal people will never notice
). Additional benefit is that the circumference will then be closer to the OEM 18-inch spec. With the OEM 19 inch CSL rear tire size the circumference is -3% which is quite a lot I think, the 275 will bring that back to -2%.
Conclusion: If you can find CSLs, great go for it! If not get CS and you'll never know the difference.

So i cant deceide to repaint or sell and buy new ones in either CS or CSL variant.
CSl appear to have a £300 premium over CS wheels hence deciding if its worth the extra if i decide to swap them out.
