New owner looking for advice

Went and bought it! :D

Pick it up on Saturday so it'll be a long wait haha.

Got a few minor cosmetic issues:

Brushed aluminium center console needs refurbed/wrapped/replaced. From what i've seen online these aren't easy to refurb so i might have replace or wrap...
Few scratches here and there that i'll hopefully be able to remove with the machine polisher. Hopefully i'll get the car early saturday morning cos i want to give it a full detail and seal it all up.
All wheels need refurbed so i'll book the car in for the following week (still deciding on what colour to go for). These are going to be winter wheels.
Then i'll be looking at suspension, sound system, wheels and random other bits and pieces :)

Will post pic's once i get it and it's been detailed!

Thanks again for everyone's else, you've been awesome!

Awesome! Glad to hear it, how did you find the service from the garage?

Cheers guys!!

Gave the car a proper wash and went over it with a dual action machine polisher to try and correct the paint a bit.

Also cleaned and sealed the softtop:

Could really get any decent reflection shots because of the weather :(

Also started looking at the audio install. Planning on mounting the amp to the back of the boot wall:

And i'll be fitting 2 10" alpine subs, one on each side of the boot in the wee cubby holes. Going to fabricate a glass fibre enclosure. Need to work out internal volume first cost they'll be a tight fit for 10's though!!

Hi Pete, welcome. I recently picked up a Z myself.

I recognise the Lupo from E38 - looking forward to seeing what you do to the car.

Re: Audio - have you considered subs behind the seats? That's what I have as part of the DSP stereo.
