New odd noise?

Hope you guys/ gals are all well.

My car has developed a new “odd” noise. The sound is akin to a loose spray can in the boot or even directly under my seat. It’s definitely not metallic like grubbed suspension, more plasticy

It clunks when you think the suspension would clunk :headbang:

Any ideas please?

Check your rear shocks top mount. Remove the shelf in the trunk and the coverings left and right to check on this.

I have a similar sound. The rear bump stop slides down the shock and the plastic dust cover that is attached to it knocks on the bottom part of the shock.
See if you can get your hand in there and push it back to the top, and if the noise then goes away.
