To close off my newbie thread then a little update. I am now the proud owner of this 2003 2.5. Ex-digidick, ex-ScoobyR1 car. Picked it up yesterday and had an enjoyable 3.5 hour trip home.
I was originally looking for a 3.0 or 2.5 Si, but this one came up, it looked good, sounded good, the seller (Rich) supplied a wealth of info, photos, videos, etc of the car, so I jumped in. I have to say I am really pleased with it. Ok it gives away a few horses to the 3.0, but it has plenty for what I want from it. It drive sweetly and sounds superb with the ducklakeview exhaust mod.
It's currently sat on 19" rims and sport springs, which I may change back to 18s and SE springs. The roads round here are not good, so the change should help. Other than that I don't intend to do much to it, other than maintain it as it should be and pamper it of course.
Anyway, a happy new (and first time Zed) owner moving on from the newbie section to become a fully fledged member!
