New wheels! Instead og the Alpina's I have bought a second hand set of original BBS CH-R Satin Titanium 8,5/9,5x19", ET32/35. The tyres will be Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5/2, 225/35 and 265/30.

Testiment to the cars condition, that car still looks great.

What made you change from the Alpina's?

One of the front wheels have a damaged rim that needs repair, and since they are replica-wheels I don't want to use a lot of money on that. Also the BBS should take a lot more beating of potholes etc, and we have a lot of them here in Norway. And I also want to car to be "mine", not the previous owners🤨

Great looking car! Ours are identical but mine needs some detailing and is stock as a rock.
Your pics are giving me good reasoning to spend a few $$ on getting mine looking as good. I can't lower mine though, it barely navigates my driveway entrance as is. Aftermarket wheels don't look great at stock height either :(

A while since last update, might as well put some new pictures in this thread. The car has now sitting under a cover in the garage until the winter here in Norway is over in sometime March/April/May.

Lovely looking car, indeed. I’d love to see more of that engine bay, I’m liking the colour coded top cover.

must have missed this thread, fabulous looking motor, and those Alpina wheels are    not sure I would have changed them

Not sure I share the excitement about the colour coded top cover. Would rather have it orginal, but the previous owner did this. Since a new cover is rather expensive I´m not sure what to do. :P

I did like the Alpina`s as well. The reason in the first case they were changed is a damaged rim. Since they were replica-wheels i didn`t want to spend any money on refurbish etc. I got the BBS used from a friend, and they fit better in terms of size and ET.

Like it or not, it’s “different”. Someone’s clearly put some love into this car.

Lovely looking car. Must admit I haven’t seen those controls for the seats before, anyone any know about those?

Normal non-electric adjusters. Got something very similar in my 3 series

Thanks, Just shows how many have electric adjustment, because I must have looked at dozens of coupes for sale over the last 6 months and can’t recall seeing one with manual adjustment seats.

You’ll get a better look here, the seats suggested in post 2 in this thread are pretty much the same

That's because the coupe is special and BMW only gave it the best bits 8)
Although there's an element of truth in that, on a serious note, if you've only been looking at coupe's then UK models were only fitted with electric seats. The manual adjustment is frequently seen on models 'lower' in the range like the 2.0l roadster.

OP your car is LOVELY. Especially with the BBS wheels. Please keep the updates and pictures coming, we all love it on here
