Congrats on the job, a mate used to work at a Honda dealer and enjoyed it.
Interesting comments about the S2000. I've come from a S2000, previously had supercharged Z4 3.0 and now in Z4M, all weekend cars. If you're in the mood for a thrash and prepared to use all the 9000rpm's available, combined with the right road the S2000 was epic, more fun and more involving than the Zed is. It had the perfect balance of power and speed to enjoy on the open road. Felt more nimble and offered more feedback through the chassis, you always knew what it was doing, even if the steering lacked any real feel. It was however perfectly weighted and very sharp. Oh and that gearbo   ... BMW could learn a thing or two!
But when not out for a thrash and just doing normal point to point drives the S2000 wasn't quite as interesting, you suddenly remembered you were in a 2.0. The Zed does these trips much better with aural pleasure right through the rev range. I wouldn't drive the S2000 as a daily, but the Zed would be usable for sure, much more refined. All that said, it's great to be back in a big engined car, it's just a different type of fun
As said above, the S2000 is definitely a drivers car, still not convinced my Z4M is yet but I've not fully bonded yet, only done 1200 miles in it.
