New forum member due to purchase of Z4 3.0 '04

The headlamp washer leak (it was draining the reservoir over night) looks like it's the 'o' ring on the quick release hose fitting to the jet assembly, so I've found a replacement 'o' ring and resealed it. If it leaks again then I'll just blank it as the washer does little washing anyway. The bumper just pops back in to the wing clips, which I've repaired.

Actually not the 'O' ring, but the right angle quick connector is cracked and as you push it over the 'O' ring, the crack opens up and leaks. I can't find this connector online anywhere, although it's made by Hella and they have a phot of it on their website but no link to it.

The wing clip couldn't be repaired and I've ordered another.

I'm going to paint the strengthening bars that are in front of the rad as the paint flakes off them and I have some satin black paint anyway.

While the car was in the air (wheels off to get to the wheel arch clips), I've used the opportunity to grease the steering rack, which was making noises. One of the easiest jobs I've ever done tbh! The clips that hold the rubber gaiters on are quite easy to replace and easy to prise off with a screw driver.
 
Steering rack re-grease is a success - no more groaning while turning the steering at parking speeds. :thumbsup:

Bars painted.

Bumper clip replaced and bumper attached.

Headlamp washers fixed.
