Hi all, new member from the cold of Sweden. Bought my current E85 3.0si -06 in spring 2023 and have been a constant lurker on this site since then (since these fantastic cars always have some small issues that need sorting :D )

It's a Silbergrau version, sold for the Swedish market with only 3 previous owners. It's done about 106 000km (yeah I've no idea about all your weird measurements  )
Previous owner probably changed the springs for the rear wheels, and changed to taller ones, so I've had those changed since. (As a trained eye can probably see in the pictures)

Unfortunately I'm not much of a photographer, so I'll post the only 2 pictures I have..

Happy to be here, and will try to be a more active member going forward :driving:

Welcome to the forum.

Your car looks great, especially after you swapped the springs!

Thanks guys! And agreed Mr Tidy! Honestly wanted it even a little bit lower, but speed bumps are already quite the struggle :D

I saw the production statistics link provided somewhere here on the forum. Apparently there were only 19 E85 3.0si sold in total in Sweden. And 5 of them were silbergrau.
Also noticed a huge difference in pricing, UK vs Sweden at least. I paid around 12 200GBP for mine (private purchase, not a dealer). But I guess it's all about supply/demand.

Good move on the springs. You have yourself a fine looking Z4.
 Welcome to the forum, from a cool windy Cornwall. :)

Thanks guys! Nice to see some others from the north 8)

I've got some stuff to do after getting the car out of hibernation in about 1.5 week.

Finally ordered a new headlight washer cover (most stupid invention ever), though it was only primed so have to use the BMW original spray paint I already bought..
Also gonna go the stubby route, ordered the Peugeot one I found at the forum.
Then I'm gonna do a service with motor oil change, and probably also transmission/diff oil. And while they do this I'm also gonna ask to do the CDV delete as I just found out about this thing which bothered me for a while.
Probably some more stuff I forgot, but will update when stuff happens :driving:

My current Z4 came with a leaking headlight washer. During the course of getting that fixed with new rubber O rings one of the clips on the back of the cover snapped so I bought one of those and painted it. Once it was all back together I pulled out Fuse 40 to stop the headlight washers working so I'd never have to go through all that nonsense again! :D

If you can drive a manual car the CDV is just a hindrance, so get rid of it and enjoy that lovely N52 engine properly. :driving:

Thanks Mr Tidy. That's what I did after 1 month of owning the car and the cover got lost during a drive. Found out what fuse thanks to the forum. Just haven't been arsed to order a new one since I only found then at like 35/40 euros per piece, which seemed insane for that stupid little bit of plastic :headbang:

Yeah I just recently learned about the CDV and it was a hallelujah moment for me!

Oh and I'm also gonna clean the vanos solenoids. Ordered new o-rings as I read they should be changed when having the solenoids out. Have gotten exhaust code two times, but still felt the car is driving very well so didn't feel like it was any panic to clean/buy new.
