Haha, thanks chaps :) do many on the forum go to Goodwood Sundays? Or pistonheads Sunday services? Be good to see a few more zeds at some point!

Hi Ed. I like your previous choice of hatches ... And obviously agree with your coupe choice!!!

I don't drive mine during the week, save it for the weekends and have done a few meets recently. In went to wilton wakeup after seeing it on piston heads. But yes I'll be keeping an eye on the Sunday services ... The merc world just filled up way too quick last month :-(

Hi Ed,

Nice selection of cars there! Love 306's. Had to phase 3 XSI's and loved the look of them. Your first picture is that known as 'diablo red' ? Lovely!

Now onto the more recent purchase - awesome colour and a lovely clean example!

Welcome to the forum! Look forward to seeing some more snaps of your car.

Sorry I never replied to the above;

Tom: How Was the Wilton wake-up? The Merc world Sunday looked amazing from the photos; I was keen but as you say didn't get my name down quickly enough :( Nevermind! seems to have gone quiet for a while on the Sunday Service front; I'm waiting on the next one; hopefully it wont be miles away so I can actually make it!

Wyldie; Thanks, I loved my old Gti6's. They were actually more fun and characterful than the R26,even though that was an absolute weapon to drive and undoubtedly heaps quicker point to point. The noise old Gti6 engines made was fab! Yes you are correct, the first one was Diablo Red, and the Second AStor Grey :)

Sadly the Zed was reversed into at work with a trailer, so it's been away for some bodywork repair and a respray on the passenger door. As there were a few other chips and scratches I thought it would be rude not to sort the rest out at the same time, as well as getting the alloys refurbished (they were left in a sorry state by the previous owner!). I'm collecting the car tomorrow evening; I cannot wait! These cars are too good to drive only on the weekends :P

Is anyone on here doing Goodwood Revival or any of the other Sunday Breakfast Club events? It'd be great to get some names down for a breakfast club meet one month!

Where did you have your wheels refurbed Ed?

Must sort mine out soon, looking very shabby.

Hope the car is back as you wanted and you're enjoying it again!
