New Carbon Interior - Pic Heavy!

Wow, that is superb. I love the look on the door handles in particular. I have some thinking to do....

I can see a LOT of effort has gone into that project and it has paid dividends.

Thanks as well for taking the extra time to take pictures at each stage.

SNAP - excellent job

Yes, WOW indeed, looks amazing, so how much are you going to charge members for this service lol

Thanks guys, perserverence is the key! It was awesome hopping into the car after work to be greeted by carbon fibre niceness - what a difference it makes.

It is a fairly time consuming job so I can imagine that people charge a lot for such a service. I might consider doing some parts of sent to me [already off the car]. I work full time and longish hours so would find it hard to fit it in though

Anyway BMW rubber mats and ZHP arrived today.

Good job chris.

That pin behind the dash strip was a right little b'stad for me :headbang:

Hope it lasts longer than mine did  :)

It was a pig for me too, what a stupid design!

I learned from your posts and pics from where it failed and think I have made the necessary precautions to prevent it from happening - however we will soon see. I will update this thread in the future!

Really professional job, Hope it stands up with time.

Was this the self adhesive stuff. I think the brushed metal dash its a bit harder because the metal heats up and the adhesive becomes pliable again.

Brushed alu will also be harder to adhere to. Mine was wood with a thick layer of laminate, so flat that I used to stick a suction mount on it so should hold up OK.

What is the dial above the rear fog light switch?

Steve
(The silly American that does not have this dial)

It adjusts the strength of the interior illumination, dials etc when the lights are on.

Rear not front :poke:

It's the headlight height adjuster that non xenon cars have

Great job... the attention to detail has been superb.

I really want to get my roll hoops covered in some vinyl; maybe you could wrap yours and let me know how hard it is to do with them in situ?!
