New Car Ordered... Few Questions to you E89 lot...

Mine is off to the detailer on Monday for a full correction, £300, but well spent, and followed by a Zaino treatment.....just need to find someone to get the scratches off the leather
 
I got my 1'er detailed in December and am currently trying to decide wether to get the Z4 detailed before or after collection. The guy I use is happy to do it before collection if I can arrange with the dealer - he will remove all the delivery wax as well, meaning the dealership dont need to touch it, which can only be a good thing!

It will be worth the wait....ok I will have to wait for you to catch up, but I have always wanted to see a white E89 drive alongside me...... :poke:
 
Congrats, did you get confirmation on the mirrors?

I think you will find they won't fold electronically as you say unless you tick that extra box.
 
Def an option....not standard.....and I've heard it can be programmed at an Indy to work when the key is pressed

i was informed that you get them with the comfort pack because you get auto dimming interior and exterior mirrors. Whem you go on the configurator and try and select folding mirrors after you have selected comfort pack it says not available in conjunction with auto dimming mirrors... Thats where the confusion started?

Personally I think the configurator is not very easy to understand when you start adding things and it removes or adds others :headbang:

I got a question, I wanna change the bulbs to get rid of the yellow rings. I am buying them from eBay and there is two bulbs in the packet. Is that for one side or two sides?
 
1 bulb per side. They are H8 type connector.

I bought a set of GP Thunder 5800K from ebay (from the USA). They have a slight tinge of blue in them, but much whiter and better looking than the standard bulbs.

I originally bought the 8500K but they were just too dim in daylight, although certainly very white.
