New Car Ordered... Few Questions to you E89 lot...

You can use voice control for telephone only. I have Connectivity Package in my Zed.

BMW Loudspeaker System - Business in my car has 11 speakers, and the sound is very good for me. Your Professional System has to be even much better.

Had an email from the dealer today confirming the order has been sent to BMW and the expected delivery is around the middle of April at the minute

Still up for sale at the minute pvr. Got three people interested in it at the minute and hope that two of them are coming to view it this weekend. :)

Sounds right John. A date of around 16th April was showing on the dealers screen when I was in on Monday. :driving:

Cheers Gordon.. I'm hoping that they say it's been brought forward to the middle of March

Car is due for delivery around mid April... Bloody ages away!!!

The tan and white looks great. My next one will be the chocolate leather and white...as much as I love the design white interior and it looks very classy, I want something a little less high maintenance.....

Seeing as though there are so many new E89's coming into the fold, I will arrange an E89 meet in the middle of the country in May perhaps.....

Sounds a great idea Nick

I think the tan looks great. Was a toss up between that or red for me but red seems to be everyones choice at the minute, especially with white exterior. I like to be different!

Choc brown will look nice too :)

The issue with red is, and as silly as this sounds, women don't like the red clashing with their outfits. I nearly bought a red leather one, and changed at the last minute and glad I did. I think the black is a little too severe for my liking. But I would get black if I could order it with piano black trim.

Alpine isn't as crisp as Ibis white on the Audi, but still a lovely colour. The mineral white on the BMW is too silvery looking for my taste....but I think it may be the only colour option for the Pure Balance Choc brown interior....if that's the case I would go with Alpine and Black, with a dark trim.....def 326 M sport is the way to go!

My car is coming up to 30K and only just having its first proper service, and only 2 litres of oil, not bad going....makes the 5 year service pack seem silly, but it's a good thing to have for resale.......

What's the road tax on the 2.0? From memory on my 35i it's £245....

I think we need to do a group buy on brake calliper paint! The ones on the E89 are shockingly bad. I am going to do mine and the hubs when the weather is better, as they look very brown and rusty right now....

Yes I think your right the brown leather is only available with the mineral white paint and I think the black and yellow interior which I also liked is only available with the acatama yellow paint, which was a little too in your face for me.

Personally I prefer the alpine white. I think Audis ibis white is a bit too bright and stark? Just my opinion though.

Road tax is £155.. 35 seems cheap at £245. That's what I pay for my 3.0 coupe. Having said that I suppose yours is only the same engine but with a couple of blowers on it :D

I do now see an option for piano black trim and think it now may be available with other colours of leather. I will check when the time comes...

Poorboys and DoDo do some good waxes and polishes for light colour cars....well you know about my OCD for keeping the car looking good and shiny proceeds me....but keeping the wheels looking clean is a great thing too....

I could only see an option for gloss black trim with the acatama yellow and black/yellow interior otherwise I think I may have specced it over the aluminium. Could only see an option for gloss wood trims ?

Your OCD sounds as bad as mine.. I will have mine in for a detail and ceramic coat protection within the first month of ownership

Keeping the wheels as clean as the rest of the car is just as important

JDM - congrats, apologies I missed the other thread. The walnut interior is a great choice, only a little jealous :D
