Left the house at half 9 this morning journeying over to Suffolk/Norfolk border by train, returning home at 5pm with this lovely example of an E89:


Thanks to everyone who helped me navigate some initial questions and queries prior to ownership (https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=133342). The journey home was smooth and comfortable, and pleasantly absent of stuff going wrong... the only thing I could notice awry was one of the number-plate lights needs replacing, which is interesting given it was MOT'd yesterday by the car dealer I bought it from!
I suspect this weekend will involve some obligatory car detailing with a bit of attention directed towards the rubber window seals which look a little faded. I'll be checking her into my local BMW Specialist (https://www.munichpower.co.uk/) for a once over, and in parallel I'll be giving some thought as to how I can extract a better exhaust note from the N52B30 up front
