New beast arrived

It is a proper nice car and that interior in the flesh is to die for

Nice to see you today Paul

Stuart

That looks lovely Paul - although I see the replacement F95 X5M due later this year is retaining the V8 with a power increase to 592 bhp, so won't you feel a bit short-changed with 'only' 575 bhp

There are fair number of coding options available for the the Fxx chassis cars, I've made a number of worthwhile 'improvements' to our F25 - will you be plugging in the laptop?

I will indeed have a look at the settings at some stage. The new X5M is not out until 2020 though which is why I bit the bulit now for this one. I compared it to the Cayenne S which is the identical price but was just not offering the same levels of power and equipment.

My mistake then - the reports I've seen said it would be revealed at the Paris show in October with deliveries starting in mid-2019.

I know you have to take these things with a (large) pinch of salt but I've read that BMW are changing the normal release schedules for some of the M models because of the new, much stricter, WLTP emissions testing e.g. they're going to stop production of models such as the M3 sooner than scheduled because it won't pass WLTP and, as a consequence, will release the new version soon after the G20 3-series rather than the normal 12-18 month delay. On the other hand, they're going to keep producing (an emissions-modified version of) the M4 as the new version of the 4-series isn't due until late 2020 - the costs of modifying the M4 being justified by the remaining production runtime.

when does the 911 come out to play ??? It looks sad .. and dusty ....

I was only talking about you Paul to my brother in law on Sunday who has recently had a 66 plate X5 40d and I said how happy you were with yours.

That is a stunning upgrade  8) I loved my old X5 4.8iS loads so I can only imagine how awesome yours is. :driving:

Enjoy it. :D

Very smart garage combo (+garage by the looks of it..! but i think i know your business, so i'd expect nothing less...)

I would of loved an X5/RRS, but with insurance on London street parking i ended up with a little m135i... lol. Maybe the gods will shine down on me and insurance will permit an F-Pace or Macan next year.

Bringing the porker to a meet soon? Sadly i'm missing Beaulieu :/

Love that Paul, was next to one at some lights a couple of weeks ago & he pulled away with anger - certainly quick when it wants to be.

Great colour & leather choice! That variant of the X5 was never on my affordable list when considering them, and ended up with a JCW but always one I fancy; currrent commute of 280 miles is not ideal in the mini, yours looks sooooo much more comfy!!
