azroadie, i agree with Curtis ... depending on what you are using your car for I doubt it will make THAT much of a difference. but of course, lighter is usually better
corner weighting is such a complicated science when you really get into it ... i mean, the whole point of corner weighting is to improve lap times ... then depending on the track, you might want a bias to one side or the other ... for example, nascar ... if you are always turning left, you set it different than a track with equal left and right turns ... if you really want to get technical, you are supposed to corner weight the car with the driver in it and depending on whether the driver just took a dump or not ...
but Curtis did do a rite up b4 about how "off" bimmer's claim is to 50/50 weight distribution and yup, with stock suspension, you are doing some major nose dives and squatting
all in all, the weight thing is pretty irrelevant to the average driver who probably doesn't push their car anywhere near its limits anyways
