New Audi TT RS

I'm not normally big TT fan but I'm likeing the new RS rather alot,

Good power output considering engine size and lacking a cylinder :) and a nice exhaust note.

Pity the press car had the awful interior red trim and it could do with losing the Ripspeed petrol flap but in all very nice.

The dash graphics is making BMWs Prof Media/Nav look old hat :(

Probably not as fun as an M2 or dare I say it an M140i :? but a decent all weather ground killer.

I'd say the new engine suits the RS3 much more than the TT, its low end torquey so not that thrilling for a 'sportscar', but definitely suits the hot hatch arena. Luckily they are porting it back into the facelift RS3.

That being said , i think it looks fun with the retro wheels (still a tad TT-hairdressery at the rear, especially in 'vert guise), and sounds the dogs bollocks (better than the competition across the board).

I've watched a few reviews thus far and most seem to enjoy it, but seem to think it lacks a bit of soul. Incredibly impressive though.

They can't half shift - I got a surprise the other week, usually a TT is a bit of a pushover, not that time :(

Looks are always subjective but it's the power, sound and tech which are all very nice to play with, I still prefer the original mk1 shape, still looks fresh today.

Was reading a review saying it's basically as quick as the old R8....

:o

Think I want one

The V10 I hope it's a beast. 8) The manual V8 is no quicker that a Z4M in a starlight line. :fuelfire: Not compared one on the twisties though. :driving:

Nope, they are still a pushover :poke:

£52k standard spec?

Not seen the configurator but knowing Audi that could push £55-£60k with options.

Still, almost 500 hp - with a remap that will be a beast.

No you're not :D

You are not Alone.

I respect them as functional cars but, have never understood the styling. :tumbleweed:
