I'm waiting for the jailbreak to come out before moving to iOS4
So for those who've been here a bit. Since it looks like I can't reserve one before the launch day....
Would it be better to:
A) call vodafone reserve a copy an have it mailed to me
B) try to get to an apple store (cambridge) early before 8am
C) try to get to a vodafone store early (vodafone is closer)
D) some other option
I know A would be the best choice because then I could order from my home, I just don't want to miss out due to the phone lines being choked. *edit* Vodafone customer service also said I could call reserve thursday it would mailed on friday*
For B/C how are the que's likely to be? Anyone have experience with the 3GS shopping on launch day from say vodafone?

I've decided to give the new iPhone a miss this time around. Just upgraded the OS on my 3G to OS4 and I was thinking what is the new phone actually going to give me? For that reason I've just went ahead and upgraded to an HTC Desire, which will be delivered in the next 2 days.

Tip to all -- if you see your battery life drop hugely, there's a couple of things to do:
1. Delete and recreate all you mail accounts (some sort of issue occurs when you upgrade the OS that causes them to drain the battery)
2. Let your battery perform a complete cycle, charge it completely, let it run down completely then charge completely again -- can help the OS to calibrate apparently.
Got the iSO4 on my 3gs now. Like the camera zoom and the folders option. Multitasking is good. Apart from that a bit of an anticlimax. I'm wondering now if the iPhone 4g will be the same to those of us that already have the 3gs?
Annoying that this upgrade was free and gave over 100 more updates to the iPhone when we had to buy the last upgrade that hardly made any difference!!! :?
