Need Help for the wheel

I hit the kerb yesterday and the wheel has a little bit shape change as shown in the photo. I want to ask do I need to replace the wheel or can this wheel be fixed to normal again? Thanks!

Did you hit the kerb straight or on or sliding into the side of it?

If it's the former it might be repairable but there may be cracks so probably not advisable. If it's the latter there's a fair chance you have a true buckle where the wheel is out of round and not just dented in one dimension which cannot be repaired.

The kerb is the separate line for the bus stop and the main road. In the night, I didn't see the kerb, so I hit it directly...

Wheels are almost always repairable from bends and buckles. Going rate is about £50 - Just look up a local company and get their opinion. If in any doubt replace it as this is a sports car..

If repaired will of course need refurbishing.

Regardless you WILL need a new tyre as the straight on impact has pinched the sidewall and likely broken cords. The tyre is weak now and can burst ant any time.

Fingers crossed it can be repaired but it may not be much cheaper if at all than a wheel from a breakers.

Agreed - was giving options and it's a decision for a pro if it's repairable.

For me it's a new wheel and tyre on a 155mph car

As above i wouldn't want to run the risk of repairing. Whilst generally repairs are stronger than the original part, the fact you can probably buy a replacement for not a lot more than the repair would cost, i would much rather go down this route.

Can't imagine for one moment you'll source a singe spare refurbished in the same colour and ready to fit, unless that's the way they come from the seller. I'm sure you'll have to have whatever you find, refurbished by whoever did the existing rims.

Hi Skyright sorry to hear your bad news. I have 4 of these wheels in my workshop. My paln was to use them for drifting days. I will only need 2 of them so if your after a replacement. Your welcome to 1-2 you can chose the best of the bunch as it makes no difference to me. They will need a referb though and they are gray not black. PM me if your interested. Price wise they dont owe me much/anything so make me a silly offer and they will probably be yours

Sorry probably worth mentioning that the wheels have decent Michelin rubber on them.
