Hello all,
It has come to my attention that there is a modern phenomenon called 'Crowd Funding'. From what I can gather, it entails strangers donating money to other strangers for a supposed good cause, which the donators have an interest in. The funding required in this case is car-related therefore this qualifies. It seems to be entirely restricted to social media. As I assume this site is a type of social media, this qualifies on that front.
I have also gleaned that those requiring crowd funding can't be arsed to earn enough money to be able to afford whatever it is they require. I also fall into this category.
Therefore, from my research, I qualify for crowd funding on all counts.
So, I would like to raise £30,000 to buy myself a new car. There are over 4,000 registered members on here. which would mean a donation of only £7.50 each. However, many of these no longer visit, so I have estimated it will require a minimum of £74.23 each to reach my goal. If there is any excess due to my peers' generosity, this will be either donated to the 'friends of the Z4 forum' charity (this hasn't been set up yet), or I will buy a more expensive car and keep a fund for maintenance costs. There is no minimum or maximum donation (I'm not OXFAM) so please give what you can.
Payments can be made via the website www.pondsnewmotor.co.uk, via text to 999001 (texts cost £75 each plus standard network charges), or the preferred way, via the 'donations' icon at the top of the screen to the Z4forum directly and I will sort it out with the management.
I really appreciate your indulgence and have a great day.
