Need crowd funding please

Hello all,
It has come to my attention that there is a modern phenomenon called 'Crowd Funding'. From what I can gather, it entails strangers donating money to other strangers for a supposed good cause, which the donators have an interest in. The funding required in this case is car-related therefore this qualifies. It seems to be entirely restricted to social media. As I assume this site is a type of social media, this qualifies on that front.
I have also gleaned that those requiring crowd funding can't be arsed to earn enough money to be able to afford whatever it is they require. I also fall into this category.
Therefore, from my research, I qualify for crowd funding on all counts.

So, I would like to raise £30,000 to buy myself a new car. There are over 4,000 registered members on here. which would mean a donation of only £7.50 each. However, many of these no longer visit, so I have estimated it will require a minimum of £74.23 each to reach my goal. If there is any excess due to my peers' generosity, this will be either donated to the 'friends of the Z4 forum' charity (this hasn't been set up yet), or I will buy a more expensive car and keep a fund for maintenance costs. There is no minimum or maximum donation (I'm not OXFAM) so please give what you can.

Payments can be made via the website www.pondsnewmotor.co.uk, via text to 999001 (texts cost £75 each plus standard network charges), or the preferred way, via the 'donations' icon at the top of the screen to the Z4forum directly and I will sort it out with the management.

I really appreciate your indulgence and have a great day.
Pond (rew).

There is some small print somewhere that stipulates you need to be a "Lifer" before you quaify for Crowd Funding

I wish I had known that before I bought my M Coupe.

When I can afford to buy myself a £30K car I might contribute.

Until then you might need to look at another newish phenomenon designed to let people buy what they can't afford - I think it's called PCP or something like that!

Read between the lines!#
Especially the last paragraph. :D

I prefer the word “give” instead of “lend”.

Lend implies some for of repayment mechanism needs to be setup and thats, well, just messy.

Sounds like a worthy and deserved cause.

I’ve recently sent £2000 to an African prince who needs the money to release $50,000,000.00 from a trust fund. Once I receive my £2m for helping him out, I will send you £148.46. Give it a few days.

Normally a situation like this requires sexual favours so you may wish to reconsider.

Then again, you may not. :D

You don't get this response on Faceapp. They just send the money, no questions asked. I am shocked by how selfish and un-caring you people are on here. :D

I don't know anything about Faceapp either, but if it is populated by people who would give you money maybe I should help their spending!

But in keeping with forum traditions if you want it then you pay for it. :P

Are we back to sexual favours again.

I noticed the other day that the PayPal app lets you buy crypto like bitcoin etc.

There are 4 different ones so I splashed out £1 on each of them….just checked and my pot is now worth £4.31, I tell you guys, you want to get on this crypto stuff before you miss the boat 😂😂

Better than crowd funding cos you’ve constantly got the risk of loosing it all, gives a real buzz!

Your too late unfortunately a certain young lad from Bournemouth already skimmed a few quid out of this forum to try to build the monstrosity marmite Z, what ever did come of that jalopy and the boy?
