Near to buying a Z4M roadster...

Hope you've got one sorted Mooney, following our PM conversation I went to see one today also. Not bought it yet as it's more money than what I wanted to spend but that seems to be the theme with getting a good one :headbang:

I agree, you will have to dig deep to get a mint example.

There's digging deep and there's BMW dealership prices :( Going to sleep on it!

Wow, I love it!

It was a long long day, and didn't get home until late, but it was so worth it.

The car is gleaming and is in fabulous condition.

A big worry of mine going from a decent 3.0 z4 to a z4m would be that it didn't feel new enough, but it is a whole different car and a completely different beast.

One thing I am very impressed with, and I don't know if its because its a newer z4 than my old one or if its because its the 'M', but it feels a lot more solid, and better built.
For example, the doors shut with a nice firm clunk.

I really love the steering wheel too, and the black napa seats are lovely.

I need to get a guy to do a few little programming bits on it, as the windows go auto down only and not auto up, and the boot only unlocks from the key once all doors have been unlocked.

Now I just have to decide... Where do I take it today?

Smiles all round!
:D

Congratulations - looked gorgeous in the ad, really pleased it lived up to it's pictures  :driving:

Tell me about it! I got a good deal on my trade in and through a hard negotiation over service history.

Mooney, the car looks lovely (a slightly biased view I admit) :)

I noticed the same thing moving from a pre facelift to the new car, the doors close with a proper BMW thud.

Enjoy it, and watch out as the M fairy picks your pocket at every opportunity, mainly at the fuel pump! Opening up the taps brings a smile to my face every time :driving:

The facelift was revised in that department, so yes, it will feel a lot better.

Looks nice!

At last!!!!

Congratulations on a stunning M, good to see all your hours of looking paid off.

Very happy for you :)
