My bird is away on bidness next wekend and im thinking of playing cars, anyone up for a run out somewhere next sat/sunday 12th/13th?

Alston? :driving:
Hawes? :driving:
Whitby? :driving:
One of tims terror runs? :|

yea, cool.

Not been up to alston for ages and the police should be somewhere else now most of the solar powered bikers have gone back into hibernation.

Not that this matters of course as it is wrong to exceed the specified velocity stated by the law.
 
might be tempted to pop my first z4 cruise cherry, not been in the north east since 2004 so could catch up with old freinds while i am at it :thumbsup:

anywhere that sells parmos is cool with me :D

Though I'd be happy to meet up even if it's just a couple of us if the weather's half decent!

Lucy, you could always organise something yourself that week-end (you might get Bung out of his hibernation!). I'm smuggling the Z down south on the 21st, so it's 12/13th or nothing for me.

Robb, an expectant crowd is gathering - now all we need is the weather and a start point / time (and fish & chips for lunch obviously)
 
With my new job being like big brother i cant get on the net during work hours so it might look like im being aloof. It needs to be Sat morning, so meet 9.30, mc d's carpark, morton park, darlington, its just next to a big morrisons on the a66 ring road, there is also a petrol sration there. Route should be up through middleton to alston, stop at heartside cafe then back through crook to darlington.
 
Robb, thanks for the post, but kids need ferrying around on Sat mornings, so with this little notice I'll have to fold :( . Hope there are enougth other takers for you to have a decent ride out.
 
Hmm, could be tempted depending upon where it is exactly.

The road going on from Alston to Penrith is supposed to be an absolute banger, if you're going that way it would be rude not to do the Windermere, Kendal, Hawes loop.
Maybe getting ahead of myself there.... 110 mile round trip.
 
I think 110 miles would be about the upper limit of what I'd be hoping to do, given that I don't get paid for a little while yet and the fundage is very low at the moment!! :|
 
Tim i know the road your on about but its too far for me this time, am sticking to the original as mentioned previously.

The road to heartside is a fantastic road anyway.
 
So just to confirm Robb, the arrangements are exactly as laid out in you post about meeting in McD's car park Darlington?

Who's confirmed for this then? Don't think I should have trouble getting to Darlington! :D
 
Thats right, everything as my original post. I prob wont be able to check the forum again before tomorrow so whoever wants to come just be there a bit before the meeting time, weather looks good too. Should be fun.
