NC500 3-DAY RUN, FRIDAY 17th,SATURDAY 18TH& SUNDAY 19TH MAY,2019

Living just North of Fort William we always see a lot of exotica in the Summer on their way North. The convoys of nice cars have started a little while ago. Over the past week alone I have seen many Porsches, Lambos, McLarens, BMW M's along with some rarer machinery. Saw a Lancia integrale today's hitch was beautiful. I think the main thing to keep locals onside is be respectful when going through villages as regards speed and noise.

Exactly,don't blast through towns loudly,at crazy speeds,as we do,keep within the speed limits thru towns/villages.
Looking forward to this, hopefully we get decent weather

I am thinking about moving out Wednesday :roll: evening going straight from Mrs workplace, ,for about 3 to 4 hrs, Get a Hotel/B&B near Yorkshire if we get that far, rather than trying to do 592 miles Thursday all in one day

Come off the M6 at Preston and take the A59 into the Ribble Valley

Stop at the Waddington Arms then go up over waddington fell and sample some of the best and unknown driving roads in England

You can track up the Pennines on some epic roads

Yes,just to go over final arrangements,waiting on Confirmation from Highland initiative,etc about what Toilets Ares still open enroute,as many are being shut to save the council money,and will be closed this week!!

Oh well,have plan b at ready.....drive a bit longer between toilet stops,lol
