Currently both very cheap options (for saver, non-refundable bookings). PremierInn looks a little quieter.

ETA, just booked the new Ayr Racecourse one for £30.

• Local Estate Aged Venison Steak

You do realise you have to catch your own pigeon and present it to the chef on the front grill of your Alfa

The grille on the Alfa is the right shape for slicing it thinly too...mmmm pigeon carpaccio

And if anyone is behind the Alfa early on, they may find they become the 'smoked game'

I’ve gone gold .. Cullen skink, scallops and tart ( plus maybe some of Tony’s roadkill ( for my ref as I’ll never remember )

For Euan they said he can choose on the night from the kids/normal menu .. burger and chicken nuggets are more his line

Roadkill can be surprisingly tender - just depends how many times you driver over the moped rider beastie.

And as per Emails,Send ME your menu choices.
But ,Pay the Outstanding balance due to The Hotel

Some of you are staying in the Hotel as Single occupancy,and others are staying in the Guesthouse/b n b next door,so have included what each of you owe and to who

Okay,I will phone them and see what they say.
If you want to pay in advance,they took deposits from me via bank transfer?
If they are happy waiting until you are there,then fair enough....as long as people don't forget they still owe them money,lol.

PLEASE NOTE,THE GUESTHOUSE TONY IS TALKING ABOUT WAS ONLY BECAUSE WE HAD LIMITED ROOMS AT THE HOTEL(10),AND NEEDED UPTO 14 Rooms in Total...PLUS,THE SINGLE OCCUPANCY COST AT THE HOTEL INCLUDING THE MEAL WAS PRICEY FOR SOLE TRAVELLERS....AND THE GUESTHOUSE NEXT DOOR TO THE HOTEL GAVE A BETTER OPTION.
ITS ONLY mmmfive,FlyingFifer and Tadekk staying at the B n b/geusthouse on the Friday night.....so everyone else PAYS THE HOTEL IN ADVANCE

I sent out info on it weeks ago,but just making sure everyone who wants it has the information.
We are staying in Inverness on the Thursday night,so let me know if you want any details,if you don't have it already
Please note, Thursday night Accommodation is something you book Yourself

I am sending out Emails tonight on Starting times,etc for the Friday morning.

I think I will be coming up in the morning, only about 50 mins from my house.

I’ll be coming up the night before, as I think it’s about 7 hours from home for me.

Look where I was today.

Not sure about getting in the car park in front of the castle but will find out. There is a barrier as it is a court building.

From the start point we can go past it on the riverside and get a good look before turning on to the NC500 route pretty quickly.

Better get the Westy built back up again soon!
