Got Accommodation booked for the SATURDAY NIGHT, which I have reserved on my card.
So will be looking at taking a £20 deposit per room for this,paid to me(I will pay the total deposits to the hotel,once I have received them).

I have agreed a group rate as follows...
DINNER ,BED & BREAKFAST, DOUBLE/TWIN ROOM,2 PEOPLE SHARING ITS £67.50 PER PERSON(PER NIGHT)WITH SILVER MENU
OR AS ABOVE,WITH GOLD MENU(Slightly more/different food choices)....it's £73.50 PER PERSON( PER NIGHT)
I will forward menus to you in April,as Menus may change between now and then.
DINNER IS INCLUDED IN THE ABOVE PRICES,FOR A 3 COURSE MEAL.
SINGLE OCCUPANCY OF A DOUBLE/TWIN ROOM IS £103.50 PER PERSON,PER NIGHT, DINNER,B&B...SILVER MENU
OR....£109.50,PER PERSON,PER NIGHT DINNER, B&B, GOLD MENU.
I AM DELIBERATELY NOT PUTTING THE NAME OF THE PLACE UP YET,UNTIL WE GET DEPOSITS IN,ETC,AND I WILL PM ALL NECESSARY INFO TO THOSE DEFINITELY GOING NEARER THE TIME.
Update..got CANCELLATION POLICY from our Saturday Accommodation...we can't cancel beyond 60days prior to our stay,as it's a large group booking,and if we do,or reduce numbers by more than 20%,then the rooms will be Charged to those who cancel.
Gone expected with a big group,but never had it before,lol.
WE WILL NEED TO PAY THE OUTSTANDING BALANCE NO LATER THAN 28 DAYS PRIOR TO OUR STAY,WHICH IS THEN NON-REFUNDABLE... STANDARD FAIR FOR LARGE BOOKINGS,WHICH IS UNDERSTANDABLE.
You will just pay this Direct to the Hotel.
They advised me that we can decide nearer the time who wants Silver or Gold menus,as FOOD ORDERS WILL NEED TO BE IN BY A FEW WEEKS BEFORE THE STAY.
AS SAID,I WILL PM THOSE GOING ALL INFO COME APRIL,IF NOT BEFORE
The above is for the SATURDAY NIGHT ONLY.
I HAVE ACCOMMODATION PENCILED IN FOR THE FRIDAY NIGHT AS WELL,BUT STILL TO FIRM UP,AS ITS PROVING PRICIER THAN I WOULD LIKE,FOR MERE 3/4 STAR ACCOMMODATION,INCLUDING GETTING A HALF DECENT MEAL IN THE EVENING.
At the moment I am looking at costs for the FRIDAY NIGHT OF £175 FOR A DOUBLE/TWIN ROOM ,WITH 2 PERSON OCCUPANCY,I.E £87.50,PERPERDON,PER NIGHT....
AND £150 FOR A SINGLE OCCUPANCY RATE... WHICH IS A TAD EXPENSIVE.....
THIS HOWEVER DOES INCLUDE A 3 COURSE MEAL,WHICH IS CIRCA £30 PER PERSON INCLUDED IN THAT PRICE
It isn't too bad for those with a plus one,as it works out at £87.50 per person,per Night,b&b including a 3 course meal,for each.
The cost for Single Occupancy is a tad dear and as it stands we need .....
4 DOUBLE ROOMS,2 PERSON OCCUPANCY EACH,AND 1 TWIN ROOM(ANDY&SON)PLUS ABOUT 7 SINGLE OCCUPANCY ROOMS(Which are double rooms all the same).
LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS REGARDS ACCOMODATION COSTS, ESPECIALLY FOR THE FRIDAY NIGHT.
THE PROBLEM IS WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, RELATIVELY SPEAKING,ON THIS MEET,AND THEY HAVE A CAPTIVE/BUSY MARKET.

I am now in the process of Finalising Friday night Accommodation also,so will update soon.
As well as the Original proposed Accommodation for FRIDAY NIGHT,I am also looking at getting some EXTRA ROOMS in A Nearby Alternative Hotel,(Just up the Road),For those who want A More Cost Effective place to stay,but which also gets good Reviews on TripAdvisor,etc etc.

Although it's a tad dearer,if a few of us paired up in Twin Rooms,then it would be more sensible price wise.....
I looked at e-bookers,booking.com,Expedia,etc for the place I got quotes for a group booking,of minimum 8 rooms,at least 4 with 2 person occupancy,and total guests not less than 12!!
Our rates are £175per night,for 2 people sharing.....
The same place,same day on all other sites is £140,for Bed and Breakfast Only....
So we are getting Two 3- course meals (2 people) for only £35,in 4star hotel,with award winning food, apparently....which is usually£30-35 per person,per 3 course meal.
Let me know your thoughts.

It's proving difficult for cheap-ish Accommodation that can take all of us and the rooms we require,that has somewhere to eat onsite or nearby,with a bar on hand,and it needs to be in a certain area,as we drive the route....hence why prices are dearer than outwith the Highlands.
Skye is much the same.....many parts of Scotland are cheaper,or if you are only looking for more or two rooms in a b n b.....

I will be travelling up there Thursday so will need to book somewhere for Thursday Evening near where we set off Friday, if you have any ideas give me the hotel phone number and i can make a booking direct for myself if not no problem just let me know where we are setting off from on Friday and i can sort out a room , also looking for a Hotel for Sunday Evening as i will be leaving to come home Monday,

I will take Deposits for the Friday night Accommodation once I get it finalised,and check those coming are happy with the potential cost of it.
Though I am struggling to get anything half decent much cheaper,with decent rooms,food,bar,etc ,in the area we will be at then(all going well)
