I remember seeing how to get into a secret menu but I can't for the life of me now find it. I think you have to hold a button down?
 
I did this on the weekend to try and fix my weird audio dipping issue.

Turn radio off, turn back on.
Hold SEL for 10 seconds until another menu pops up, then use the < and > keys to navigate to GAL. 1 is minimal adjustment, 6 is most sensitive.
