National no.8. Friday 30thJUNE/SATURDAY & SUNDAY,1st,2nd JULY

Looks an sounds like you had a good weekend and the wether looks like it was on your side which is good to see considering what it was like mid week in bonnie Newcastle. Gutted I missed it will pay more attention to dates when booking things in next time.

Craig

Thank you both Craig and John for a very enjoyable run out yesterday. I know most of those roads very well but it is always much more enjoyable to drive them in company with like-minded petrolheads and in 'proper' cars too. I would have liked to be able to come along on Saturday also but 'best made plans' and all that. Fingers crossed for next year ! Thanks again and see you soon, Si.

Look forward to seeing the video clips.
Was good to see you as always. Pity about your alloys,
It's a bugger when that happens :headbang:
Hope they get fixed without much trouble.

Hi Craig,
Thanks to you and John for good weekend. Enjoyed myself, even without my car.
Just a heads up on the camp site. Talked to the manager on Sunday and he told me the Triumph group were asking about camping on the same weekend next year. I know Lune Valley dog show is on the same weekend next year as well. He said to contact him asap to get your provisional booking in.
Cheers

Yeah, have got the first weekend in July penciled in already Brian, spoke to Tony on Sunday night before I left, cheers
Will phone him to verify later this week, and some with the Hotel

Keep us posted about your car :driving:

Good to meet up with you guys at the weekend pity i could only contribute for an hour on Saturday. Looking to sort my wheels out as we speak.
Thanks to Craig, John for organizing and to all who attended Saturday evening. Hope you enjoyed the Sunday run.

Hope you get your wheel fixed okay, Paul.
That was a nasty pothole, though surprised it did as much damage.
Pity we lost you early on,but glad you got back on the road later.
See you again at the next one mate :driving:
Thanks Craig was good to see you again. My little mishap will not put me off and i will definitely be on it next year

I'd just like to add my thanks to Craig and John for another great National, some lovely scenic drives on the Saturday (if a little crowded at times), the ferry ride was a particular highlight for me and Nicola :P . The Teesdale Alston road never disappoints on the slightly more spirited Sunday but I was a little surprised to find myself leading the pack.

Nice to see old friends and meet some new ones, roll on next year :driving: . Barring a lottery win I'll try and break a habit and turn up in the same car 2 years running  .

Great to see you and Nicola again,Laine.
Yeh,the hunt for a toilet delayed the rest of us,lol.

Was quite surprised when I found you and Radu out in front,as you had been nearer the back.
That is some of the best driving bit of the weekend :D

See you again soon mate  :driving:

Thanks to eveyone that organised and participated over the weekend!
Can't wait till next year, c'mon Craig get it organised! :D

Gutted we missed Sunday. Definitely making a weekend of it next year. Popped my airbourne cherry on Saturday and have a 14 year old chewing my ear off. Apparently the car behing filmed it, not sure who it was :(
