I will confirm what's happening once I confirm with the Hotel what they would prefer, but if you wish until after tomorrow, I will have spoken to them, cheers
The reservations in my name..will firm up tomorrow Tony :D

Not looking good for hotels for those of us that haven't booked! :(
Tried at least 10 around area today and nothing available!
A few available further out but very expensive and some only taking bookings for minimum 2 nights. :headbang:

Travelodges at Kendal and Burton have rooms - depends how much you want to spend I guess.

Managed to book a b & b 3.5miles from Crooklands! :D
Still one room availabe if anyone needs to book somewhere.
Whats the start time on the Saturday Craig? 171miles to get there! :driving:

Crooklands just told me they have rooms for the Friday but not the Saturday. I was thinking of attending but will now give it a miss and hope that next year the Hotel situation is better.

Yes,it has been a pita this year, but there are other hotels and B n BS still available in the surrounding areas, within just 5/6 miles or less from the Meet point,if you wanted to come.
Or book in for the Friday night, and join us for the Friday night meal,Saturday Drive, and sat nt BBQ

It would be Good to see you and your nice shiny new estoril z along :driving:

Cool,be good to see you as always mate.....yeah,tho you will be "relegated" to the non z group at the back,lol....but they always have fun just the same.
Let me know what day/days u can make it,cheers.
How's the Scirocco??

Looking back at 2015,I only startted the thread a few weeks earlier than this year, and by the 8th of April,Crooklands had been fully booked for the Saturday night....? And we still had about 35 cars down as attending....so this year the Hotel just filled up about 10 days earlier, due to the "Fearn society meeting"

Despite this, and ongoing flood damage at campsites, early turn out is looking OK..... Roll on July :D :driving:

All sorted mate- I'm down for staying at waters edge Friday and sat. :driving:

I know,Paddy...the owner of the site(Sandra), mentioned you phoned/emailed her,and she agreed to squeeze u in,as it's only a 1man pop up tent.
Be good to see you there :driving:

In the interests of openess, anyone wanting Camping, please come through me,All spaces are taken, and the site owner has a list of who is down as having a space reserved (she previously didn't want names, but I have now insisted,so as to avoid confusion  )
There is a site across the road,Little acres,if anyone looking for camping may be able to get in there,as they are currently winding up business this year.
I will look into other alternatives, but there is also POUND hill farm CAMPSITE,in Crook, just 3.5 miles away from ,Crooklands,
Cheers :D

INFO REGARDS THE RAFFLE.....
This year we may have just one or two prizes and do a sponsored "wear a silly hat" on our Saturday run(Johns idea  ), and get people to ask friends or family to sponsor them, with the most money raised by an Individual z4 owner/forumite,being awarded the prize......as opposed to holding a raffle again.

Will update in due course
