Hi all
Can I ask if there are any ladies going this year as my wife says she doesn’t fancy attending if she will be the only one and although she says I can go on my own I don’t think I could handle the weeks of grief that would come with it :D
I can wear my weekend outfit if that helps xx

Well,it feels a bit weird, sitting here ,at home,on the first weekend in July, when for the past 10 years I have been going to the Lakes for our National" z4-forum meet, catching up with friends old and new.

Feels like I should be in a Hotel bar down in the Lakes, having a few drinks with good friends, and looking forward to the weekends driving ahead.
Here's to beating this Pandemic

Also,it looks like we would have been on course for a wet weekend, which is something we haven't had too often over the years, thankfully.

The new dates in August,up until last week were predicting sunny but cloudy and dry, with around 21c for our August w/end.....
Now a week on,its predicted to be wet in August too?!

Here's hoping that it turns out nice for us,fingers crossed folks.
Looking forward to August more now :driving: :D

Stay safe, and all the best folks

Can’t commit to this yet Craig as we are still quarantined here, at least until 20/7 when they are reviewing

Due to some care worker who works at the Hospital in Carlisle having a garden party at her home in Gretna, she’s spread Covid to x10 others, now the Young’s factory among others has all been tested, we are not allowed to drive further than 5 miles socially etc :headbang:

So same here just now

All being well you guys will be released in a fortnight..

Went out for out first walk beyond our local area..this afternoon..we went along the old Waverley Line from Edinburgh to Carlisle near Newcastleton...a big anti visitor sign still up there..strange to think you’ve got a local lockdown in our part of the world :tumbleweed:

Yeah we had a setback with a local lockdown in our area, but that’s been lifted today, so all steam ahead, I’m guessing the toilets and showers will be available at the campsite?

Hi Peter, yeah it was a local lockdown for Dumfries & Galloway, turned out it was a total of x12 confirmed cases, lots of testing done, no real spread thank goodness, so it’s been lifted today.

I’m hoping you change your mind for the National?

Hi Craig 3.2, at the moment put me down for both drives. I live in Ulverston which is only 20 mins away from Crooklands. Won't need any accommodation as live so close. However, I move house at the end of August and might only be able to do 1 of the days. Depends what 'her in doors' says. Looking forward to meeting everyone, viewing the cars and the drive. :driving:

Hi Craig
Been hoping to attend the last few years but always had a diary clash (hols or an annual fund raising event)
Good to go this year after a nudge from spenna75
Please put me down for the Saturday drive
No accommodation needed as only 30 mins away

Yes,I am told there wil be toilet and showers available, though it may be under covid 19 government restrictions,i.e limited number in the facilities at one time. But,yes I am told.
Be good to see you there, cheers
