NATIONAL MEET 2014... (FRI),SAT.&SUNDAY 11TH/12TH/13TH JULY

Just bought 60quids worth of detailing stuff at Halfords so suppose I should confirm my attendance :)

please tell me your not going to be waxing your car at the campsite..

there was a certain fellow who shall remain nameless (tweed) who absolutely had to wax his zed what seemed every five minutes.
hilarity ensued when we figured out the best way to get the ducks to nestle on his freshly cleaned car..

Anyone else notice camping with Ruby basically involves no sleep, and lots of booze? Sounds like my ideal camping trip too...

Sorry, Craig, will not be able to make Saturday after all. In the middle of moving house at the mo! :-/

That's a shame...but not a good enough excuse, lol :poke:

I am in the middle of selling one house/buying another and will be away fir this then another weekend shortly after, and then the 1st 2wks in August(working).......only joking,
sorry u can't make it/hopefully next time? :driving:

I will shortly be starting another thread for this years RAFFLE PRIZES, for our Charity raffle-draw, so it doesn't get lost in amongst this thread....should be finished it LATER tonight, if any1 wants a nosey :D

Hi guys, Im afraid I won't be able to make this year. Sorry

Unless I can get this commission done in time but doubtful.

Aint even got my DSLR so won't be taking many snaps myself :(

We could always swing by and see you at Haweswater tom 8)

Sorry you can't make it Tom, would have been good to catch up with you.
As said, you will be missed, and not just for the Photos, lol.......although if you can't make it, then I fear the quality of the Photos and the choice may well be a lot less, ha-ha....especially as "GUISLEY KIDS" are not coming now either!
As the rest of us are usually too busy Driving/Chatting :)

Hope you get your Commission done in time and can make at least 1 of the Days, would be good to see you and your lovely z there :driving:

Planned on spending tomorrow afternoon giving the car a quick once over before I head up.

Came out of the hotel car park this morning, and sum twunk had parked across the drive/opening, and so I carefully negotiated the exit but didn't spot a part broken kerb as I straightened up until I heard the graunch. Now got a lovely 12" scrape along the rim :headbang:

Ah well, just another thing to do when it goes in for its front end respray

Cars boot packed, amazing what you can squeeze in. Must remember to take my pillow this year, the rolled up towel used last year was not good.
Weather looks to be improving, so should be a good weekend. 8)

I think i might come along on the Sunday! Any issues with me handing out some flyers and business cards?

I would be very interested to hear what you could do with my car, so you'd have ZERO objections from me

So I was up this morning expecting rain. . .instead we had bright sunshine! :?

This was the only way I could clay, polish and wax the Zed for the weekend. Got the wheels off and gave them a good clean too - felt like a professional under the gazebo. Steph's idea - Never used it to clean the car before but by moving the car about I could keep the panels out the sun and crack on. Hard work though but worth it! Ready for the weekend. . .

That's fine if you are coming to join in the Drives and meet fellow forum members, but I need your model of z4, age, colour etc and your Real Name, so I know who to expect.
Also, your post kinda sounds like you are using this as a marketing opportunity 1st and foremost, which is not the point of the meet :driving:
