This :

Spending hours on adventure games that consisted only of a narrative and trying to find the right two word command to advance in the game, "hit monster" "kick monster", "punch monster", etc., before finally abandoning the game.
Great thread! Blitz was my favourite game on the vic 20 & all the family used to gather round & all take turns to have a go!

Did any of you boys have just one earring ?
I had my first earring in my left ear when I was nine years old in 1982 & then had a second one done when I was 19 in my left ear, but then i decided to have two put in my right ear when I was 23 & I just looked like a pirate!

Thankfully I haven't worn any earrings for ten years after realising what an absolute idiot I looked

No..

Pump was built into a stand and the bike clipped onto it... Was a small blue motocross style bike IIRC....Must have been early 70's..

Lot older than that mate...

I cant find any reference to it at all.... You clipped the bike onto the stand and air was pushed into the bike through a round port underneath. You then pumped air pressure into the bike and then released with a lever on the side of the stand..

Would truly love to find one...lol..
