N.Hampshire Run - Sunday 30th October (last one this year)

Nick, were you in the white E89?

Sorry I didn't get the chance to say hello, my wife loved your car if it was you!

Felt extremely slow today which must mean I need to grow a pair!

Yes that was me...you car looked great by the way....a great buy from Carol.

Grey is amazing, and if I got a new E89, I'd get grey.

Thanks, glad she liked it.... :driving:

Makes me feel less of a Z4 owner lol!!

Carol had great taste, especially those alloys, Hayley will be getting a set soon!

Cracking morning, very weird having had a great day to find it is only 9.30 am & loads more time to enjoy left.

Look forward to meeting you on the next run

Matt

Trevor, are you selling your Z4M?
Yes, after 3yrs it's time to move on :)

It goes into my indy specialist tomorrow to be put back to standard, will then be up for sale and the aftermarket goodies advertised on here.

The car has been amazing - It truly is a very under-rated performance car that comes into its own when "driven" - A true drivers car...

It has set the bar high for my next car :? So high in fact the price jump to the next car is huge :( forcing me to go through the winter/early spring without a weekend car, saving every penny I can :|

Next spring/summer I shall emerge with something very special

Top run as always the damp made it interesting , shame we lost a couple including my mate who almost lost it in to a hedge but not to much damage ,lucky for him its all about the engine and not the looks. Thats what you get for 888 on wet roads.

Think perhaps someone is going for a GT3 perchance? :D

996 or 997.1/2 come on spill the beans Peppermint...

Sounds like you lot had a great time this morning, shame i couldn't make it ( in part relieved as i hear R888's weren't the fashionable footwear for the conditions.... :o )

Yeah Rich, twas just a little slippery out there this morning. :driving:

As for jonnyfive and nickm's (dick dastardly and muttley) jibes... Must try harder :D

I recon it was all that petrol spilling out of some ones car, i mean who leaves there filler cap on a garage forecourt. That's right a nob(le) driver and i wonder who that was.......

Good thing it was only a 99p one made of rubber....one type fits all kinda thing. I think Poundland sell them too....

Great meet and run guys. Very well organised and for the most part very well driven.

Good to put some faces to the names and see some nice cars. Highlight for me was getting behind the wheel of my PAX's Lotus Europa. A very different car to the Z4MC but damn can that car take roundabouts fast!

Looking forward to the next one.

I think we both know the answer to that one. Here's a hint:

F O R D

Say no more :D

A little unfair. He had 888s, no TC/DSC/driver aids and that corner surface was shocking i.e. gravel, mud, wet leaves. He gets my sympathy anyway :driving:

Yep we all can drive like super stars with the TC/DSC etc thats why i switched mine back on in the second part  .It Def seemed to get more slipery as the day went on.

Oh don't get me wrong, I stopped and asked him whether he was ok and needed any assistance. I think he was a bit embarrassed and rightly so. He's lucky there wasn't a ditch or a tree ...

Anyway, not wanting to kick people when they're down and all that, let's just hope he learns from it. 8)
