Congratulations Steve - great fun if you get to build your own garage. DIY it, you'll find it much more satisfying (and cheaper)srhutch said:The real bonus for me is a big hole that I have. Might have to build a new garage around it though

It is as you say, vented.
Well I also have an indoor swimming pool. It's about 3.5m long 1m wide and about six foot deep.
Luckily I recon there is only a few inches of water as there is a breeze block in the bottom half visible. Don't believe it's been used for a long time so not too bad, but will have to pump it out.

And I was blaming Brexit for the values of houses going down, but it was you moving closer to me
john-e89 said:You're welcome to borrow my pump if you can wait until the Watermill meet, I could bring it and give it to Perry etc, if they are close to you, then wait until another meet sometime to return it, no hurry as I bought it for one job. They won't be much to hire but if you want it it's not a problem.![]()

Thanks for the offer but I'm going to buy one. Only about £30 on fleabay and I don't know how often I will need it.
