Back to the Nurburgring after a 3 years stop :) :

I changed the rear suspension with KW Clubsport, as the Bilstein/Eibach were not appropriate anymore due to the weight change. Rear was too high and front too low.
The front will be fitted when I will receive my spacers, as the wheels rub on KW CS springs :( .

The Vorshlag shock mounts are dead, although they are less than 5000km, mainly on highways (to go to the Ring). So I fitted back the originals on the rear, but looking for better and more reliable ones (any advice is welcome). The front is provided by the KW CS kit.

I also changed the front wishbones and fitted Powerflex black series rubbers. The feeling is a bit better.
Done some purges (engine, gearbox, diff, brakes), changed filters (but the fuel one since it's in the tank, that will be done later), spark plugs, and a lambda sensor. Now I have to check valve clearance and purge steering and cooling fluids.

Next mods are a 6 points rollcage, harnesses and a lightweight battery.
But the main mod will be in my balls :D , as I'm a way slower than 3 years ago in the fastest curves.
 
also can you give your review of the clubsports??? i have the same and think they are absolutely awesome!
 
At the moment it's an hybrid suspension (Bilstein/Eibach on front and KW CS on rear). It might seem strange but I turned 4 laps on sunday with this setup (because I did not receive my spacers), and the feeling is a way better than before ! Mainly because I dropped the rear, as the balance was not good anymore after stripping the trunk and replacing seats (-12kg per seat !) with the previous suspension.

At the purely bump absorption level, I don't think I will notice a difference, because I nearly did not drive the Z4 last 3 years :( , and forgot all the "feeling", at least on track.

I was there this weekend aswell, saw your car many times - it looked fantastic especially on the CSL alloys. I was there in my Black Sapphire Z4M Coupe.

Did you see the silver grey Z4MC that crashed at Hatzenbach? it was on Belgian number plates and was why the track was closed at around midday (amongst the many closures)

I saw the silver Z but didn't know it crashed :( . There was so much people, I was not surprised about the crashes and closures. My last session was apocalyptic, 2 crashes in the same lap, the last one was impressive :

Yes I try and go there 3 or 4 times a year. This was the first time taking the Z4MC.

I did see that accident of the white M3 from a friends video...the yellow Megane done so well to avoid an accident. The weekend was far too busy with so many closures and accidents. The level of driving was very poor so not surprising there were so many accidents.

I may go back on September 12-13th, will you be there ?

Not too sure as I will be last minute dot com! But after the experience this weekend with the constant closures and shocking driving I saw on track dont know if I want to do another TF. Might just stick to the closed trackdays.
