My Z4M CSL - Stage 3 Mods

and an independent adjudicator for a race between NA and SC!

Still keen to get the car on scales to see how much weight you could drop.

Nice work guys and you're right these tyoes of mods are not discussed enough on the forum. We could be a little more scientific about it.

my car wont be used for months now :-( my 5 month old baby has just been permanently placed with me after his mom became unwell and unable to look after him, life has pretty much taken a u turn right now, im actually really enjoying having him here 24-7, but by god its hardwork with the businesses as well, unfortunatly my toys have been placed in long term storage mode and wont be used for some time as i must now concentrate ALL my time on settling my little boy, i simply cant fail him, my love for cars is probably what keeps me sane and genuinely is a huge part of my life, but right now my little boy needs me!!! poor thing, what a rough start...... time to change that :-) :D :D :D :D :D :driving: :driving:

Baby anthony loves daddies cars however.... I took him into the garage today and he threw up all over the bonnet of my z4m.... thankgod the car cover was in place!!! ha ha ha ha
i am however using the internet to get my Car fix and continueing to stockpile parts throughout winter...... my passion, my love for all things motorcars is literally keeping me sane/happy...its more than a hobby, its a way of life for me... i lived and breathed cars for my whole life, looking forward to passing it on to my little boy :-)

sorry flatout, you wont get to see her in action this year :-(

Sorry to hear his mum is in well, but believe me you won't regret spending time with him.. priceless that is..

yeah its just be a huge change in direction is suppose, but im cant lie, this is pretty awesome right now!! in a way i never though it could be!!! i love the sound of a supercharger however!!! ha ha lol
 
Beedub, just read you’re posting and I’m really sorry to hear about things. Been though the mill myself with my Dad being in hospital recently but he’s much better now. So I wish you all the best mate!!

I have to agree the stuff I've being doing the car over the past few years has been both a passion and a fun hobby too. When I go to Brundy ‘waiting for CA-AUTO’ to arrange I’ll get them to video the induction sound and try and do some 0-6 & 0-100 runs with the Launch control & Flat Shift mod.

One thing I like about the Z4M Roadster and Coupe is that they are very rare cars on the road.
 
Love your motor, I'm going to read through the thread properly - but I'm going to have my front bumper wrapped like yours I think. Just wondering how hard it would be to do myself - I've already done the grills.

I'm waging high 3s or very low 4s... It's not just the power it's getting it down. Also, how long do you get out of first gear as don't you have the standard final drive ratio?

hmm interesting, stock car does 5, i think i could comfortably get low 4s reguarly, balls out no mecanical sympathy it could do an amazing time in warm weather....

thats front engine RWD configuration for you (no such probs with a Noble or 911). With that iron block at front I don't know what the weight distribution is on the Z. Anyone know?

It's an M bumper with the center bar cut out and ac-schnitzer rear diffuser added :wink:
 
Yes that’s what I thought when I got the bill :cry: , but it looks very nice. The guy who wrote the article in the BMW Car Magazine loved the combination of the imola red and the AC Schnitzer carbon fibre rear diffuser.
The things I’ve done to this car … I’m must be crazy. LOL but it always puts a smile on my face :D when I drive it … or put my foot down … not for the speed which is amazing, but for the Induction roar. Have to say the Stage 3 Race Head with 5 angle inlet and larger Incol inlet values makes the induction roar even stronger :-)
